They’re hitched, folks! My girl Meghan’s all married up and official.
It was a beautiful wedding, an incredible weekend, and I can’t wait to share some of the amazing projects and details with you. But…I’m working off about 2 hours of sleep (thank you middle seat and 4 a.m. departure time) and 1,100 pictures! So, get ready to see hundreds of photos… just kidding. I need to spend some serious non-quasi-asleep time going through all the great wedding shots from this weekend.
Before I can even begin to share the wedding, I need to introduce you to Meghan!
Meghan and I taught together a million years ago in Virginia, and the love affair has been ongoing ever since. You name it, we’ve covered it… wine on the deck, double dates, classroom collaboration, road trips, teammates, standing next to each other in times of celebration, grief, profound loss, and elation.
In a nutshell, there’s nothing I wouldn’t do for this lady and being there for her and her incredible daughter to send them off onto this next great adventure was supercalifragilisticexpialidocious.
So this isn’t my attempt to whet your whistle or taunt you into reading posts later this week (although I won’t argue if that’s what I managed to do!), but it IS my solution for the lack of sleep and the 90 degree temps that are officially causing me to drool onto the keyboard with fatigue.
Give me 24 hours and I’ll get my act together to spill all the wedding details, DIY projects (Meghan did the ENTIRE thing herself) and generally hold you prisoner to all the gorgeous images from my weekend in Colorado.
And you miiiight just get a peak at some of the projects I have pictures of from my own wedding. Ya know, to keep this thing slightly educational. Who am I kidding… I just want you to see how beautiful and happy Meghan and her husband Ryan looked this weekend!
