I’ve been a mother for almost 6 years and have obviously loved 99% of that time! (5:45-6:30 each night make up that 1%…) I’m the first to admit that Mother’s Day can get carried away with the fervor of pampering and brunching, but no question I love getting a little sumthin sumthin with a bow on top too! I figured today might be a fun chance to share my Mother’s Day wish list with you (just in case anyone out there’s wondering) and… I also have an AMAZING jewelry giveaway by the über talented Page Sargisson. (Ladies, who says you can’t treat yourself to some Mother’s Day bling?!)
I admit that maaaaaaybe I caved and bought a couple of these while I was virtually shopping for you lovely readers (the sacrifices I make…), but most of these are just things that I would put on my Charlotte’s Favorite Things list! (You get some earrings and YOU get some earrings…)
I love scarves. I love stripes. I love tassels. This scarf rings my bell.
I mean, a pretty clear blue frame is a hard accessory to pass up, amiright? Love the classic Wayfarer shape, but the blue gives it a fun modern twist.
Is it too much to have 3 of these on every finger?! What a perfectly cool and colorful little bauble for Mother’s Day.
I looked at my milk and juice stained leather bag of two years the other day and decided it was time. This has been on my “want” list since I first saw it at the Haven Conference 2 years ago… It will be mine.
I don’t think there’s ANY product that can make up for the lack of sleep, over caffeination and, er, age… that’s the current state of my complexion, but… this sugar polish from Fresh at least gives the mug the feel of a fresh and shiny patina.
I have two of these in a shorter length that I wear all summer. Baggy enough to cover the midriff the babies left me, but still colorful and fun! I love the added length of this one and plan to wear it over leggings or bathing suits or even skinny jeans.
I already posted about these here (coupon code!!), but I wore a similar pair all vacation and plan to don them again when our temps in Connecticut warm up a bit.
After my DIY headboard, I got to know Lacefield’s fabric inside and out… I covet approximately half of their prints and the other half just don’t fit our color scheme otherwise I’d covet them too! SO many amazing options!!
I will layer and combine necklaces with anything… these larger gold pendants are my favorites… I’ve been eying this one for ages.
10. Striped Turkish Hand Towel
These are in most of our bathrooms. The subtle stripes and the absorbent soft texture are the perfect combo for chic hang towels.
Picture 3 or 4 of these hanging from a killer gold necklace or bracelet? One a year to help mark some milestones? Just an idea…
That neon stripe is the best, right? I like that this looks just boxy enough to be comfy and forgiving but not so boxy that it swallows up your figure. And obviously the color combo is crazy good.
I know perfume is a personal thing, but this is my favorite… sweet and floral and affordable!
I’m thinking this could be a fun detail for a big girl room we have planned for Eleanor later in the spring! Fun and playful enough for a little girl but still cool. Very very cool.
Like I said, this summer I’m looking for clothing that is on the baggier side of things… newsflash… after 5 pregnancies, I’m not sure the tight tee will ever be in my future, but this bright color and comfortable cotton looks like a staple once the baby arrives in June.
I grab these colorful melamine plates whenever I can… perfect for picnics or dinner by the beach. They’re colorful and cool and light so easy to transport and MUCH easier to eat off of than paper plates.
Light and breezy cover up for the beach? Yes please.
Such a splurge, I’m crazy about Jon Robshaw textiles. The simplicity of this color scheme is what appeals to me… these could be for a living room, a kids room, or even tossed on a bench in the foyer!
