Here’s how this little bedroom looked during our walkthrough…
And here’s how it looks now. Oliver and Eleanor share this room so the decor had to be unisex.
Like any piecemeal project, this has evolved and come together but it started with a few things: the striped rug from a remnant store up the road and this dress-up bureau.
I painted this craigslist dresser in what was meant to be an ombre herringbone until I realized the drawers only fit in a certain order. Oops.
2 simple thrift store bookshelves with a color block paint job, and I gained some extra storage for toys and pull ups and such.
When we moved out here full time from the city, I finally tackled the roman shades… I still love them and love the way the fabric pulls all the crazy colors in the room together.
This little couch was reupholstered and luckily works perfectly in here for reading stories together before bed.
