We’re down at my folks so the fun for the week has pretty much been digging through all my mom’s amazing toys and running back and forth to the playhouse. But… before we left I FINALLY finished a #WednesdayPlayday project that I let get away from me.
And I don’t know what took me so long because it’s a good one. I ordered a cheap and colorful poster online and bought a sheet of this hardboard at Home Depot for maybe $10?
Using some polycrylic, I pasted the poster onto the hardboard. It got a little messy on me, but I was able to smooth out most of the bubbles with a paint brush, my fingers and a plastic putty knife.
Once the poster had dried, I had fun with my jigsaw. A straight line isn’t my strength with a jigsaw, but this… this was zigs and zags and swirls and whirls. So easy.
Both Eleanor and Oliver loved putting together this full sized puzzle!
To make it even harder, I plan to go back and cut each puzzle strip into smaller pieces to challenge them. And keep them occupied for longer. #smart
I would have LOVED something like this as a kid! Also, Oliver’s amazing combed hair: Discuss.
What amazing toys did you covet as a child?! (Aside from the wee-wee dolls… everyone wanted those, right?!)
