Full disclosure: this post is going to be like vegetable soup, America’s Got Talent and my new home office… a little bit of everything.
First and MOST importantly, I’m over at VRAI Magazine today sharing these killer garden orbs. Can we talk for a bit about how much I love all things concrete? Concrete thinking… concrete jungle… concrete GARDEN ORBs! Swooning over here. Fully swooning.
Sadly, our garden is still on the more pathetic side of things since we only have 4 bulbs blooming, but we’re getting there! (That glow you saw on the horizon yesterday was my exposed legs. #kiddingnotkidding) I never feel like my garden photography is very good, but I got my plant on at the flea market on Sunday… if I can figure out how to show it all off, I will. If not… just picture something one page shy of a Better Homes and Garden spread.
Head on over to VRAI for a full step by step for the orbs. (Again… promise… it’s stupid easy.)
Also… this happened over the weekend. Eleanor’s actual birthday was last Wednesday but her ‘glow in the dark’ party was on Saturday. We have an amazing spot near us called Splatterbox and all they do is art. (Sidenote: I want my house to be like their studio- rolls of paper, bins of paint, racks and racks of creative stuff!)
The children got to make their canvas, outline with glow-in-the-dark paint and then splatter it with neon paint. And there was a big pink disgustingly bright heart cake I made for Eleanor… she was delighted.
Finally, I got a little nerdy with the blog and rejiggered my project gallery and my house tour. I’d love you to check them out and give me any feedback! Do you like it? Do you hate it? Do you know the muffin man?
